St.Joseph’s Senior. Sec. School

Guys my name is Devashish Behera i was apass out of year 1995……..currently in mumbai…will request all of u to encourage people from our school to be a part of it..becoz i dont think anybody recollects much of college life than school life…and school friends are forever……please write and be a part of this great institution.

I accidentaly came across this site today and could not resist to write a few lines. I am perhaps one of the oldest alumni of this school. I joined this school in 1965 in class1 and finished my Higher Secondary (CBSE) in 1976. This was the first batch of the school. I still remember that my roll no in the school was 34. My class mate was Satish Mahana who incidentally is the MLA from Harjinder Nagar. I have lot of sweet rememberance of this school and the teachers with whom we studied. I can still recall all of them by names including all my classmates and juniors. Incidentally Mother Margret was the Principal of the school when it opened in 1965 and Mother Maria Adrina was the principle when i finished schooling in 1976. I have lot of Pictures of the school of course B&W which I will like to share with you all in the future. After schooling I completed my engineering fro Birla Institute of Technology and now I live in Delhi. When i was in school i used to live in the campus of JK Rayon which is in ruins today. Shall keep in touch with you guys. Keep up the good work!

I am Santosh Sadasivan  who was in St. Joseph from 1970 to 1986. I was though a registered back-bencher and was very famous for playing pranks.

 Ronnie if I recollect, would be the guy who had lived in J.K. Colony for some while.Also I remember your stage performance  ”Chalte-Chalte with Guitar”. While googling for some information about Kanpur, accidently bumped into your site while trying to find classmates, I am really very impressed when, at the first glance I could see St. Joseph’s Convent School after so many years. I would like to take a tour to your website on a Sunday again to really enjoy.

So here I was ego searching, where I go to Google and type “Ronnie Jacob” and see how many listings get thrown up… It feels good to see your name crop up as the first entry.

 Today, unusually, I scrolled a little further down and saw my name mentioned by Renu Suri, which by any standards was intriguing, and I came here to see more. Yeah, it’s interesting to see your name mentioned in a thread especially if it is a blog site. I found her old class photos and saw a few familiar mugs staring back at me…:)
